This was sent to me from a man who discovered the joy of Christmas while discovering Santa Live Now.
I remember as a child the excitement of Christmas and how my mother used to take me to the department store to see Santa.
Looking back now, it makes me smile to think, back then how easily pleased I was. I was so excited waiting in the queue to receive my present, then telling Santa what I wanted for Christmas. It was fantastic how silver paper in a back room could fire the imagination of a five year old.
I can remember coming out of the department store, walking around to the bus station and waiting in the freezing cold for the bus but only being interested in the plastic toy I was given.
I often think what it must be like for a five year old today sitting in a warm comfortable house and logging on to Santa Live on the Internet. I watched nephews of mine, one is six and the other is five, log on to the computer to watch the Santa Show then send Santa an email and he actually read it back to them.
The guy or shall I say Santa was not your normal part timer he was actually very convincing when he started telling stories about Santa’s Village and all the people that lived in the North Pole. When I asked my nephews what this was all about they told me he reads a different story everyday in December and if you miss one you can buy the Ebook or watch him tell the story for free on the Internet.
A story every day in December, he must repeat them! but the Children insisted he doesn’t. Does he bring you presents I said; of course he does, he’s Santa Claus. I couldn’t disagree and apologised for being so silly.
The following day I logged on to watch and there was Santa, Singing, telling Stories, reading out letters that had been sent to him and mentioning Birthdays. Hang on I thought, Santa is supposed to be making toys, just then he said goodbye see you tomorrow I’ve got to check on the Workshops and the Reindeers. This was amazing.
After he had gone off air I went to his Stories and Video page and there he was telling the stories. They were parables of goodness instilling high morals into the children, whilst at the same time they were humorous and touching. To be honest when he told the story about his adopted son Yodule the Ice Cream Elf I felt at any point I could have cried with happiness for this lonely character who had been given a family and a home.
The more I delved into this website
@http://www.santalivenow.com I realised. That Santa was the perfect role model to teach children to read and to grow up with respect for other people.
Here was a website with Stories for young and old, Christmas Music I had never heard before and Children’s Characters which looked up to this big jolly man
Times have certainly changed and no one can dispute that this is so much better than waiting out in the cold. It would also be hard to dispute that this is not the Real Santa Claus.
