hey santa, thanks for including me on your friends list. i have been a santa fan for ever and always and i made sure that my kids got the full effect of santa. i do the same with my grandkids. mixed in with the joys of christmas is a smattering of the joys of giving. i begin by letting them know that while i do enjoy receiving gifts i have much more fun in thinking about the person i am getting something for. i take the time to make sure it's the right thing and watching that person open his/her gift gives me so much pleasure when i see that my time and effort gave them pleasure. we also do the same for others who are in need more then we are. i want them to understand that it's more mun giving then receiving. i feel that too many children out there are gimme, gimme kids because they aren't taught the right way. so reading about your interests gave me hope that there are others out there who care and our world might be ok after all. it sounds like you have been through a lot and use your caring of others to bring you through your tough times. thanks for sharing yourself with children to hopefully make a better tomorrow.
