My Pictures from the Celebrate Santa Convention in Gatlinburg TN
As some of you know, There was a "santa convention" in Gatlinburg TN put on by Joe Moore.
Here are some of my pictures of the convention. Although I did not have a camera with me at the time, I have been able to come up with some photos of the event, especially of my adventures at the convention.
Even though I was not able to carry a camera at the Celebrate Santa Parade, because I was busy giving out toys to the children watching the parade, I was able to obtain a picture of the Celebrate Santa parade as the last part of the parade went by.
We were not in the parade itself, we were not allowed to have a float, so we decided the only way for us to respond was not to picket or protest... but to give out toys to the children.
So we did.
This picture was taken just moments before the person in the last float called the police, FROM the float itself, to have my toys taken away, and to stop me from giving toys to the children. (THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED FOLKS.
The City of Gatlinburg TN Police Department was called from the person in the last float of the parade and accosted me and stopped me from giving away toys during the parade)
Of Course, I was warned. I was sent emails by Joe Moore telling me that I was not welcome in Gatlinburg. And if I were to show my face there, he would have me ARRESTED. He also posted his rules on his website about the parade.
He also made sure everyone knew that I was not welcome.
When I got there, Joe Moore hired armed guards to follow my every move
That's right folks... at the behest of Joe "Burgermeister Meisterburger" Moore of Seymour TN, not only were we accosted and threatened with arrest just for arriving, the City of Gatlinburg Police Department took away our toys as we gave them to the children of Gatlinburg.
