- What does the spirit of Christmas mean to you?
- Christmas is the fulfillment of a promise made by God about 6,000 years ago. When the time was right, God's Son was sent as the promised redeemer, to make it possible for us to have the character and nature of Christ, instead of Adam's nature. It was for this reason that God filled the sky with a host of Angels proclaiming JOY TO THE WORLD. This is the same JOY that was set before Christ when He was on the cross, the very reason He endured the cross, WE were the joy set before Him. We are what filled His heart with Joy, the truth that we will be like Him, and have His nature.
